LONG BEACH (VELIKA PLAZHA)
Long Beach, known as „Copacabana of Ulcinj“ is a 13 kilometers long beach located about 5 kilometers from Ulcinj city. At the very beginning there is a marina called „Port Milena“, where you can stay in authentic wooden cottages on the water, find the real haven and escape from everyday life.
You will be enchanted not only by kilometers of long beach, but also by the purity of the sea, sunsets, unspoilt wildnature....
KITE SURFING
If you are an active holiday sympathizer, you will have the opportunity to try on the Velika Plazha an extreme sport, kite surfing, since the wind, which blowsalmost constantly, with a large number of sunny days makes ideal conditions for this sport.
HOW TO GET THERE?
If you arrive to Montenegro by plane, you will land at one of the two airports, Podgorica Airport or Tivat Airport. In both cases you will need for another two hours of road driving (ie 93km from Podgorica and 100km from Tivat). Taxi in Montenegro in the summer season cost about 2 euros start and 50-70 euro cents a kilometer. The usual price from Podgorica to Ulcinj is 40 euros. If you decide to travel by bus, it will come out much cheaper, but buses only go to Ulcinj city. From here you will again have to take a taxi to the Velika Plazha, and it usually comes out about 12eur.
If you have time to visit other parts of Ulcinj Riviera, you should visit the Valdanos beach, Small Beach (Mala plaža), Ladies Beach (Žensku plažu), Ada Bojana.
